Scotland pull out of behind-closed-doors friendly with Norway

<p>The two nations were reportedly set to face off in an unofficial 'training game' on Monday, June 8th, but the match will no longer go ahead.</p><p>A member of the Norwegian FA's media team said that the Scots withdrew from the friendly over injury concerns.</p><p><strong>"Today, we learned that Scotland unfortunately had to withdraw from the agreement due to injuries,"</strong> media manager Morten Morisbak Skjonsberg said.</p><p><strong>"Instead, we will train at Greensboro."</strong></p><p>Norway manager Stale Solbakken admitted he will now alter his plans ahead of the World Cup.</p><p><strong>"The cancellation means I will make more changes in our game against Morocco.</strong></p><p><strong>"The idea of playing Scotland was that we could get some minutes in the legs of the guys who don't play in the Morocco game."</strong></p><p>Scotland star Billy Gilmour recently had to pull out of their World Cup squad after getting injured in a 4-1 win over Curacao, although manager Steve Clarke said that there were no fresh injury concerns after their 4-0 victory against Bolivia in their final pre-World Cup friendly.</p>
