Randers FC announced on Monday that Kasper Junker will rejoin the club. The striker has signed a two-year deal after spending seven years in Norwegian and Asian football.

"Kasper is returning home after a successful career abroad, having proven his worth as a goalscorer in both Norway and Japan," says Football Director Soren Pedersen.

"He remains highly motivated to prove himself in the 3F Superliga as well, and we believe he can do that at Randers FC. In Kasper, we are getting a striker with extensive experience, high quality, and a strong winning mentality—someone who also knows the club and understands what Randers FC stands for. I think it is a really good match between Kasper and the club."

32-year-old Kasper Junker played for Randers from 2012 to 2016, initially as a youth player and later for the first team. It has been just about six months since Kasper Junker moved to the Thai club Buriram United, where he signed a contract until the summer of 2027.

After leaving Bodo/Glimt for Urawa Red Diamonds in 2020, Junker has been highly successful in Asia, winning eight major club titles and multiple individual honors as he went on to become one of the most prolific foreign goalscorers across Japan and Thailand.
